Restore gradual, natural-looking facial volume and improve skin quality with a personalised Sculptra® treatment.
Sculptra® is an injectable collagen stimulator made with poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, which provide immediate gel-based volume, Sculptra® works gradually by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production.
As new collagen develops, the treatment may improve facial structure, skin firmness, fine lines, wrinkles and age-related volume loss. The results appear progressively, creating a subtle and refreshed appearance rather than an immediate or overfilled look.
Sculptra® is FDA-approved for correcting shallow to deep nasolabial folds, fine lines and wrinkles in the cheek region, and other appropriate facial wrinkles in immunocompetent adults.
Benefits
Stimulates Natural Collagen Production
Encourages your body to gradually rebuild collagen within the treated areas.
Restores Facial Volume
May improve areas affected by age-related volume loss and reduced structural support.
Improves Skin Quality
Supports firmer, smoother and healthier-looking skin over time.
Softens Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Gradually reduces the appearance of selected facial lines and folds.
Natural-Looking Results
Improvements develop progressively, helping avoid a sudden or overfilled appearance.
Long-Lasting Improvement
Clinical study participants experienced results lasting up to approximately two years, although individual results vary.
What to Expect
Treatment Time: Approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the number of areas and vials being used.
Comfort: A topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment. Lidocaine may also be added to the prepared Sculptra® solution when clinically appropriate.
Immediate Appearance: Temporary fullness may be visible immediately after treatment because of the water used to prepare the product and normal post-treatment swelling. This initial fullness generally reduces before collagen-supported improvements begin to appear.
Initial Results: Progressive improvement may become noticeable from approximately one month after treatment.
Fuller Results: Results continue developing over several months as your body produces additional collagen.
Duration: Improvements may last up to approximately two years following the recommended treatment series.
Downtime: Minimal. Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising may occur following treatment.
Recommended Treatment Plan
Most clients require a personalised series rather than a single treatment.
On average, approximately two to three treatment sessions may be performed over several months. The number of appointments and vials required depends on:
-
Your age and facial anatomy
-
The degree of volume loss
-
The size and number of areas being treated
-
Your skin quality
-
Your desired level of correction
-
Your individual response to treatment
Your provider will assess your face and recommend an appropriate treatment schedule. Maintenance treatment may be considered after approximately one to two years, depending on your results and aesthetic goals.
How Many Vials Will I Need?
The advertised price applies to one vial of Sculptra®.
The number of vials required is determined by the size of the treatment area, degree of collagen loss and desired outcome—not simply by the number of injection sites.
Some clients may require one vial during each session, while others may need additional vials to achieve balanced correction. Your full treatment plan and total cost will be explained before the procedure.

Important Safety Information
Common side effects may include temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching and lumps around the injection sites.
Small bumps beneath the skin may occasionally be felt when pressing the treated area. Larger or delayed lumps, sometimes accompanied by inflammation or skin discolouration, have also been reported.
Sculptra® must not be injected into blood vessels because vascular complications, including blockage of blood flow, may occur. Treatment should only be performed by an appropriately trained and licensed healthcare professional familiar with the product’s preparation, injection requirements and potential complications.
Results vary between clients. A personalised consultation is required to determine whether Sculptra® is appropriate for you and how many vials and sessions may be needed.
