What to Expect
Treatment Time: Approximately 15–30 minutes
Comfort: A topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment. Many hyaluronic acid fillers also contain lidocaine to help minimize discomfort.
Initial Results: Improvement is usually visible immediately, although temporary swelling may affect the initial appearance.
Final Results: The treated area generally settles over approximately 1–2 weeks.
Duration: Results may last approximately 9–12 months, depending on the filler used, amount injected, metabolism and individual response.
Downtime: Minimal. Most clients can resume normal activities on the same day, although swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising may occur.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Aspirin, ibuprofen and other anti-inflammatory medications may increase the likelihood of bruising.

Do not stop aspirin, blood thinners or any prescribed medication without consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it.

Aftercare Instructions

Do not touch, rub, massage or apply firm pressure to the nose for 24 hours.

Do not massage a lump or uneven area unless your injector specifically instructs you to do so.

Avoid wearing tight glasses or sunglasses that place pressure on the treated area unless approved by your provider.

Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, excessive heat and prolonged sun exposure for at least 24 hours.

Avoid sleeping with direct pressure against the nose on the first night.

Important Safety Information
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a higher-risk filler procedure because the nose contains blood vessels connected to the facial and eye circulation.
Possible side effects include swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, asymmetry, firmness and lumps. Less common complications include infection, delayed swelling or an unsatisfactory cosmetic result.
Rare but serious complications include vascular occlusion, tissue damage, skin necrosis, stroke and partial or permanent vision loss.
