What to Expect
Treatment Time: Approximately 15–30 minutes
Comfort: You may feel a brief pinch during each injection. Small bumps, mild redness, tenderness or bruising may temporarily occur around the injection sites.
Initial Results: Improvements may begin to appear within a few days, depending on the product used and your individual response.
Full Results: Results generally continue developing over approximately 10–14 days.
Duration: Results commonly last approximately 3–4 months. Some products may provide longer-lasting results in certain patients.
Pre-Treatment Instructions

Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Aspirin, ibuprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications may increase the likelihood of bruising.

Do not stop aspirin, blood thinners or any prescribed medication without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it.

Tell your injector about all medications and supplements you are currently taking, including antibiotics, muscle relaxants and blood-thinning medications.

Inform your injector if you have recently received another botulinum toxin treatment.

Let your injector know about any allergies, medical conditions, previous reactions or current pregnancy or breastfeeding status.
Aftercare Instructions

Remain upright for approximately four hours after treatment.

Do not rub, massage or apply firm pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours.

Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.

Avoid excessive heat and prolonged sun exposure immediately after treatment.
